HTC Desire
My wife bought an HTC wildfire to replace her iphone and it was extremely impressive. I bid for, and won, an HTC desire to replace my own iphone 3GS. I can say that the desire tops the iphone in almost every way. It is faster on the net, google maps seems so much slicker and the apps on the android market seem a lot cheaper than the apple equivalents. The screen is more than a match for the iphone 3GS but I cannot comment on how it compares to the iphone 4. The best bit about this phone though is the user interface. Everything seems to be only one click or swipe away. It is very easy to customise your home screen and the battery life seems better than the iphones. Also you get Adobe flash support for browsers which is the biggest let-down of the iphones. I cannot recommend this phone enough.
