Mostly improved from the original
1 of 1 found this helpful I owned the first iteration of this mouse and I loved it. This newer model mostly improves on a solid mouse. It is great to have a rechargeable battery built in with a USB cable to charge as you are using it. No pulling out batteries and waiting to recharge our swap them out. It also works with the included micro USB adapter, or through Bluetooth. This is perfect so you don't constantly have to use up one port. The only thing I am not crazy about is the power button. The original design had a large sliding power "button" that covers the laser when not in use. It was easy to turn off without even looking. This update had a much smaller button that is almost impossible to turn off without turning it over and accidentally hitting the connect button. But this is a minor inconvenience. Finally, the clicking portion of the old mouse notoriously dies after around a year of use, and this mouse uses the same buttons. So far, it is an excellent choice.
