Excellent Guitar! More Than Exceeded My Expectations!
If you're looking to purchase your first 7-string, or to add another to your arsenal, look no further! This Ibanez Gio is an amazing new addition to my arsenal. First off, the ice white finish is immaculate, no imperfections whatsoever. Secondly, the electronics feel great, it holds tune very well, pickups aren't too muddy on high gain/distortion and the clean channels are beautiful. Third, the pickups are split, leaving you with a 5 way toggle for even more variation in this guitar. And lastly, the shipping and condition of the guitar is very good, no damage to the box or its contents, fretwork is good, and the neck needs little to no adjustment (mine came perfectly straight, but depending on where you're ordering this from, temerature shifts may cause the neck to bow slightly, but easily fixed). I think this guitar is amazing for the price, although I may grab some new pickups to put in it just so I can clear up the muddy feel on the higher gain/distortion channels, and a new pair of strings to replace to factory set (I prefer D'Addarios) can't wait to break it in!

Best Strings Out There
1 of 1 found this helpful I've used D'addarios my whole life, and not once have I been dissatisfied. These strings are sturdy amd resilient to wear. If you're going to buy any brand of strings, these are the way to go! Theyre bright and bendable without losing tune. Ive bought hundreds of packs and they never cease to exceed my expectations!
