Go for it.

I tried this after much research and many recommendations of Billy No Mates. It seemed fairly expensive but is lasting well and is worth the price. Started using it when the weather was still warm and had neither fleas nor ticks. The weather turned cold and I thought the flea season was over and stopped using it. A week later, found a flea while grooming the dog. Went back to using Billy No Mates and no more fleas. Not a single tick this year - about a dozen last year. Am very relieved to be no longer using the toxic and expensive stuff I used to get via the vet. Definitely recommend this alternative.
