Beautiful record!

The gold and maroon on this record is mesmerizing! I am in love. The copy I received was in excellent condition. Better then most new albums I receive in the mail. Two very big thumbs up!

Amazing music, bad packaging

This review is for the packaging of the item, not the music itself. The music is beautiful and magical and if you are a LOTR fan you MUST have this. However, all four corners of the box that the vinyl sits in were completely ripped when I received my brand new and sealed copy. I also found many other reviews that claim they received the same. It looks like they are held together by nothing but paper. Keep in mind that it is supposed to contain five 180g records. That’s a lot of weight and it isn’t strong enough. I added some epoxy to all the corners and it should hold up now but the paper is still ripped and it lessens the overall presentation of the product. Terrible design flaw. In my opinion, it is still worth it. Just keep in mind that it may be damaged when you receive it or it may fall apart with average use.
