Eight Below
1 of 1 found this helpful This Disney film is based (loosely) on a true story of a team of scientists working in the Arctic who had to evacuate due to very severe weather conditions, leaving the team of sled dogs behind. They hoped to come back for them but........(don't want to spoil it.)
Anyway it's the story of how the team of dogs survived for months without humans.
Great storyline if you like dogs.Beautiful Huskies & Malamutes in it. Anyone who isn't fon of dogs will struggle to understand the raw emotion in the film.
The dogs' anthropomorphic "acting" spoiled it slightly, but it IS a Disney!
Children might find it upsetting - my OH cried, so did my adult son ha ha.
Taken with a pinch of salt it's a good film.
