A challenge for a novice - but thoroughly enjoying it .
I had previously bought a book on making ragdolls --- the instructions were not clear and the patterns themselves - hard to work with and understand. I bought this after reading the reviews and so far - all has gone to plan. I would only add - as I am a novice - to read through everything thoroughly before you start. The pattern takes you step by step - I probably needed more guidance but I have learnt as I have gone along - if it doesn't 'tell' you to stitch something - yet it shows it in the diagram when informing you of stitching a particular part of it - ie - the head darts - but shows in the diagram the stitching around the outside - stitch it. Not a criticism - I just didn't want to do anything unless told to. I will know next time. Thoroughly enjoying the challenge and learning new things. Clip curve - hadn't heard of that - but a quick google and I understood.
