Its Not Behlen but what choice Do You Have!
Ten years ago I started making bowls and needed a food safe finish. Behlen made this prior to Mohawk making it. When it was Behelen it took two coats to achieve the desired finish. With Mohawk it takes 4 coats. I called Mohawk and said this product is not the same as Behlen , Mohawk assured me it was the same recipe , so I said how can it be? No reply.When I first bought this in 2011 it was 18 a quart. Now to get any type of savings I had to buy 4 at 34 a quart, other wise a quart is 44.95. So you guys will have to decide whether it is a good value.
To be fair Behrens recipe caused alot of loss once the can was opened due to it/s interaction with air and they suggested upon opening to pour out what you thought you needed and immediately pouring the rest into smaller containers filling to the vey top to avoid a layer of air, which would cause a skim coat of semi dried finish to form. This doesn't happen with Mohawk . That tells me the stuff isn't the same. My advice is to buy in bulk now as inflation will probably take this price to the moon

4 of 4 found this helpful I only take this twice a day and have been using it for 4 months, I have added inches to my upper body, especially my biceps and triceps,lats,pecs, shoulders and quads. My endurance levels have also increased dramatically and I work out hard 3 days a week and do core 6 days a week and if I miss a pill time I know it in about 2-3 hours as I don't quite have it! Oh I forgot to mention that I will be 66 in 21 days.
I look forward to each morning workout much more so than I did just a year ago. Thanks Jacked Factory!
