Great mix of music and vocals.
It's got a sound they started to change a little with the next album, which had a hit single, catchy choruses, and PG's more mannered vocal stylings.
This one has the band really playing as one, with soulful vocals that stick to singing above all. As a fan of the '70-'72 period I see this as a development of the style on "Nursery Cryme" which has three excellent long songs.
It's got a visceral, spontaneous sound that may have been more polished on following releases. There's no filler ( though the first fifteen mins. of "Supper's Ready" isn't in the same league as the outstanding last 10 mins).

Some great material on this.
I like "The Snow Goose" and this one is my choice from the others. The songs with the least vocals are my favourites and the instrumental "Lunar Sea" is exceptional, the main reason for purchase.
Few players have the touch and expressiveness of guitarist Andy Latimer and when he gets going it's like David Gilmour but with more variety and musical chops.

Good quality, ultra low cost.
Having been satisfied with Ziko acoustic strings I tried a set of electric ones, 10-46, and was happy with them. They sounded just as good as U.S./U.K. made ones and cost half as much.
