Features fine but cord too short
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a replacement smartcord. You can not get the smart cord except coiled. The connection at the detector and power insert is stretched too tight AND the cord connection at the detector eventually fails. An additional 12 " length of uncoiled wire would be a big improvement especially when you relocate the detector from vehicle to vehicle or remove it in times of no use and high heat exposure. ^he other solution would be to offer an uncoiled smart cord like 5' long,
