Bright display on lowest setting
The display is very bright - I've used a red display alarm clock for years and even on it's lowest setting the display lights up the entire room in the middle of the night.
The lowest sound level is still quite loud when you have the alarm right next to you, so if using the radio as an alarm it gives quite a jolt.
Otherwise the alarm is well constructed and has good sound quality, it just falls down on those functions for me personally.
