Kristin Hannah is an excellent writer. I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.

True story
1 of 1 found this helpful I haven't had a chance to read it yet. I have read "Before We Were Yours" by Lisa Wingate and wanted to know more about Georgia Tann and her corrupt adoption agency. It is unbelievable that someone could actually get away with stealing children from poor families and abusing them in her orphanage in the United States. Too bad she died of cancer before she could be prosecuted for her crimes against children. If anyone deserved to be prosecuted, she did.
