The real deal
1 of 2 found this helpful This is a great deal for the money. Original unopened Fender package. This bridge has vintage stamped "Fender" saddles and original full-sized (not shaved down to nothing) tremolo block (huge sustain boost) and is all ready to bolt in. Magically somehow I had near perfect intonation with no adjustments, pure luck I'm sure. A few adjustments in saddle heights and off she went. Note- since it has a fatter block, the inner block area may require routing 1/4" more out to accomodate full swing of the whammy. Try it first. You will see if it's necessary or not right away. Real American and most MIM Standard Strats already have the room, Squire's and other brands may not. It is totally worth the effort. Now it sounds a lot more like my '57 Fullerton Strat reissue I have played a thousand times since 1983, which of course came with this fat block in it. I am thrilled!! CRS
