The book was well priced and came without a fly cover. I photocopied the cover belonging to a library book and made a suitable book cover. Very nice

A masterly multilayered book of research about the Vikings.
A truly great work piece of research carried out by a multitalented researcher. Dr Dawn Hadley brings together strands of evidence with forensic detail but with a delicate touch.
I’d like to read a future book about the cultural crossover in Dublin, the Isle of Man, and the Wirral with links to other settlements in the Shetland Islands.
