Superb light, best I’ve ever bought.
I’ve been using the marine version of these DSuny PopBloom LED lights and was blown away with its ability to grow coral and how affordable it wall. so I was very excited to see they had a version for aquatic plants based on the same innovative technology and clever controller but with a LED colour combination more suited to growing plants.
I was not disappointed, the colour is very much like the 10k 150watt metal Halide, but to my eye is much brighter and has a little more warmth, a lot more shimmer and a fraction of the heat!
Within minutes of the PopBloom lamp coming on you could see my plants started pearling, streams of tiny oxygen bubbles flowing from the leaves, proof they were growing happily.
I love how easy the controller is to use and it’s so clever with technology programming the LEDs to come on low and then slowly brightening to emulate a high noon sun and with the LEDs on nearly full it’s very very bright. As the day goes on the LEDs slowly dimmed again and finally produced a moon effect for the evening. This is also controllable and easy to adjust to your needs.
I have nothing negative to say about the light, it’s slim, elegant, low profile and does not get overly hot. It’s easy to hang and looks very smart over my tank. I think this light will be a game changer to aquatic plant lovers everywhere! Well done PopBloom.

Absolutely brilliant!

Perfect for aquatic plants.
Very bright, excellent colour and plants thriving. Really good quality LED and a wattage that can actually grow plants well.
