Excellent HR allows for multi-sport expansion
Very good unit, along with the optional cadence, speed, stride and keo sensors allows one to track nearly all aspects of a workout whatever your workout of choice.
It should be noted that Windows 10 removed its support for IRda which means earlier versions of Windows will be needed to download monitor information for computer analysis.
Update August 2016: MS updated Windows 10 so the IRda interface is now working again.

Does what it's supposed to.
A little temperamental when trying to sync with phone. With Polar units it syncs easily and works as advertised. If you have GPS (either in phone or in compatible unit) the speed sensor is useless unless you also do indoors cycling in which case it comes in handy.
One minor beef: the original cadence/ speed (5kz) units did not run out of batteries, these do. If you are capable you can do change the batteries yourself by looking it up youtube.
Overall, the units do what they are supposed to without problem.
