Can't go wrong with OEM parts!
Because it belongs there. This bike has had a problem with the nut coming loose and always at high speed on the freeways. Suddenly, I have no power. No drive. I'm stuck waiting for a tow. Now that I have it exposed, I see someone mech put on any old nut laying around, and he never locked it on. No more surprises on the road from now on!

A bulky thing, but very high tech
Read between the lines. This tuner does not include a metronome, or any other gadget they sell for it. You have to add and pay for that. They give you a discount if you order 'add ons' when you register it for warranty coverage.
There's a learning curve, but if you're good at following a manual, you'll get it. With practice.
