Warmth and majesty
I bought this album on the strength of Oleta's sterling work on Tears for Fears' wondrous album "Seeds of Love." She possesses a voice of extraordinary warmth and power, majestically soaring from high to low, from near-whisper to full-blown gospel-tinged magnificence. She is also a talented pianist and lyricist. If you liked her vocals on the classic "Woman in Chains" by the aforementioned TFF, you will love this album, as TFF produced it. Buy it for her magnificent versions of Brenda Russell's "Get Here." and the classic standard "Everything must Change," or the groovy title track. It's a gem.
