Lovely music, great recording
This is a very spirited and stylish recording of some beautiful but relatively unfamiliar music from a great master of the violin in the French baroque period. This volume is no longer available through normal CD outlets (volume 2 is still available) so eBay is the only way of getting a copy.

Great recordings of wonderful music
This CD contains recordings of Haydn's last 3 symphonies (nos 102-104), all wonderful masterpieces from the summit of his career. The recordings are exhilarating, with generally fast speeds but still precise and elegant where needed - I particularly liked the way the natural horns and trumpets cut through the texture. The CD arrived in immaculate condition. Great value for money.

Old technology but still a wonderful way of bringing back memories
Digital frames are no longer manufactured because, to many people, they've been superseded by tablets. But I still like to have a machine which can stay in one place and is dedicated to showing a continuous-loop slideshow of pictures. It's particularly lovely for me to have easy access to pictures of my late wife and of the children when they were small - I often stop and look at the frame as I pass, and it always brings back memories of particular holidays or events.
The Kodak digital frame is reasonably easy to use - the controls are intuitive but a bit small and they are at the back of the machine which is awkward when you have to look at the front to see what you're doing! But this is a small drawback and to be honest it's hard to see how the designers could have avoided this.
