Vax VRS5W Rapide Spring Carpet Washer,
6 of 6 found this helpful The machine is good value for money as long as you are not expecting wonders from it.
It cleans carpets which are lightly soiled but you should set aside several hours to clean the carpet of an average sized room for the actual cleaning process and the subsequent drying time. I bought this model on the basis that, with additional carpet shampoo, the cost was the same as it would have been to hire an industrial type carpet cleaner from a DIY store for 3 days. The bedroom carpets were not heavily soiled, but being light coloured, showed tread wear around the beds, but even so, I had to clean the carpets three times to achieve a good result.
The machine is somewhat lightweight and it is still early days to say whether it is robust enough for long term use.

I loved "Bring me to Life" from Fallen so much that I wanted to see whether the band could maintain their standard of excellence - I'm so pleased that I bought The Open Door - I wasn't disappointed!
