Check out the Orange 30 watt tube head...from a vintage man's perspective
1 of 2 found this helpful My experience with music equipment goes back to 1962...when I used a tube radio as an amplifier (radical). This Orange amp stands up to any of the tube amps I now own. I record so I like a clean but punchy sound for the rhythm section...as well as that good 'ole British Blues sound for solos. The 30 watts gives me a chance for that nice tone quality without blowing people's eardrums out. Most of you know that an amp at 120 watts (per say) needs to be on about V-7 to "feel the noise" so to speak, I love it! My son Joel bought one then called me up to tell me there was only one left....I jumped on it! I will use this amp to play live...solo as I do....and be confident that my audience will hear quality sound coming from this old "space cadet." Just buy one...don't let me say " I TOLD YOU SO!"
