Good casting. Excellent value.
Excellent for the money. The housing is a solid casting, and nicely finished. The main roller bearing seems to be metal and runs nicely free. The secondary roller has a soft plastic bearing which drags slightly. This should respond to a little silicon or ptfe to enable good string settling. The spring is cylindrical, not conical, but seems to be of common diameter, so you could probably find another choice if necessary.

Very very cheap!
Cheapest strings I have seen - ideal for youngster to try out an acoustic guitar without worrying about cost of breaking strings. Recommended.

Fair enough for the cost.
Solid piece of kit. Not high precision but fair enough for the cost. A bit bigger than some as I had to skew it to fit my pillar drill. This does not cause a problem to me. The supplied handle is only a loose push fit so will not stay on shaft.
