Flow Text Easily
Most of my work tends to be page layout, as in newsletter. So I often copy text from a WP document and paste it into text frames. If I have frames on multiple pages I want the text to flow from one to the other, even on different pages. The newest version of Pages does not allow that. This version does. This version also, for me at least, allows much easier placement of pictures and graphics. Very intuitive. The newer version not so much. If you like MS Word, the newer version is probably for you. If you like Pagemaker, this older version is better. I bought this just for Pages; can't speak to any differences in Numbers or Keynote.

Put Fun Back Into Picture Taking!
1 of 1 found this helpful True story; I owned a Canon Rebel T3i. It took great pictures, had many features, and was excellent quality. It was also large and loud. I like to take candid pictures and the Rebel was not good for that. I sold the Rebel on eBay and bought two cameras: a Canon PowerShot A1400 and a Canon PowerShot A640. Both have viewfinders and that is huge for me. I prefer to hold the camera to my eye when taking pictures. Plus the viewfinders both zoom with the lens. You don't always get that. The A640 has an articulating LCD screen which is great for taking pictures of things that I sell on eBay. I put the item on a table, the camera on a tripod and shoot at object level. Visually much better than shooting above the object. Much easier with an articulating LCD. Both cameras have a multitude of manual configuration settings such as ISO, white balance, exposure adjust. Plus the A640 can take filters with an optional adapter which is still available. I just bought a density filter for the A640 and will be taking some time exposures of the rides at night when the SummerFest comes to town. The A1400 easily fits in a shirt pocket.Taking pictures with the Rebel was a bit of a chore. Taking pictures with the PowerShots is fun. Taking pictures should be fun. These cameras make it so.

Hard to find in the store; worth the effort.
There are probably a dozen different brands of peppermints out there. Over the years i have tried them all. Just something about these mints that taste just right. Can't buy them in Walgreens or Family Dollar anymore. The just aren't there. Thanks eBay!
