Overabundance of ghastly murders, repetitions galore with not a smidgen of story line.
This "book" is nothing but an appeal to the basest instincts. Ad hoc listing of murders make a book not. I was frankly appalled.

Without silly fillers it would be O.K.
Typical Kerry Greenwood production which could be quite enjoyable if only the utterly superfluous quotations would be eliminated from each chapter. They always drove me up the wall. If Kerry wants a filler, she should choose anything but the quasi academic nonsense provided.

Good yarn
Not exactly high brow literature, but still more palatable than most of today's offerings.
If you like your mysteries dripping with blood, don't buy it.
If you like a lighthearted reading, recommend it.
