Amazing
My maglite 3 D cell torch had the old incandescent bulb, which many years age I thought was great now lacked the power of even my cycle lights. So I purchased a Cree 3 watt XP-G2 conversion bulb, and what a difference it has made. The only drawback I found is the dark spot on wide beam seems to be more obvious, that maybe because the light is so bright. I can live with that though, because the light is so much brighter and no more poor yellow light, I now have a clear bright white light. I'm one happy buyer.
