The series
Although I haven't gotten through this book yet I have the other Gentle art of verbal self defense books. I bought these to put together a presentation for work. If you need to learn or enhance your skills I would recommend Ms. Elgin's books. She has passed away so what's out there is all that there is. Also, Verbal Judo is a good book as well.

I am a first timer
I am just getting into this area and found this to be money well spent. I would recommend this book. I have bought about 6 books so far (3 of them animal orientated) and so far I am happest withthis book
