Amazingly Weird!
I bought this with a smidgen of scepticism but was reassured by the ‘returns accepted ‘ I had 12 eggs available to hatch but before letting loose on them I tested the sexes of myself(female), lizard(male), daughter and hamster(male) which the magnet all showed correct sexes by rotating to indicate Female and pendulum swing for male, sometimes it took a while to get going but answers were very clear with patience. I then held it over all 12 eggs it roughly showed the same number of males and females with about 4 unsure or no movement of which I chose three unsure leaving me just 3 viable eggs making 6.
As I had ordered the eggs online, it proved quite an expensive way to do things as it left 6 potentially female eggs wasted. Anyhow, I went on with my hatch candling regularly. The results were unbelievably interesting. Of The three eggs that the magnet was unclear about 2 died before hatching with little development along with one of the potentially female eggs, which sadly died almost fully formed ,so I don’t know the sex of those 3. Hatch day arrived and I had 3 eggs 12 hours apart, the first to hatch was one the magnet showed to be unsure, and that turned out to be a beautiful drake, the two left the magnet indicated female and got them both correct!
As far as I’m concerned this magnet was great, if I had hatched all of the eggs I’d have been stuck with at least 4 drakes that i couldn’t house and would have had to try and re home which is extremely difficult with Drakes.
I have no idea how this works but I have half a theory that it’s the same force that exists between the moon, women menstruating, tides of the Ocean and hormones! Any advances on that I’d love to know!!
