Thoughtfully designed. Excellent features.
This cord is very well designed. The 60W adapter works great, doesn't get too hot, and has two small, built-in extensions that fold out so you can wrap the cord around them for safe transport. This feature is key, as it keeps the insertion point of the cord straight. When I transported the cord unwrapped, just loosely in my bag, it slowly wore and broke from the constant bending at this point.
The L-shaped mag attachment is another great feature, lighting up red when charging, green when charged. Another key feature is the fact that this cord can be plugged into a regular two prong outlet, as is, or it can be switched out with an attachment cord (not included) that almost triples the length of the cord and plugs into a 3-prong (grounded) outlet. Both are helpful.
I only use genuine apple products because I know I can be assured of their quality. Thanks, Apple! Now for making products that are environmentally and biologically safe!
