Zefal Trial City Mudguards
Reasonable for the price.
Lacks the support of other guards with stay rods, so the rear ends can move side to side, but only a little. The single fixing on the front is fairly stable.
The rear guard comes up short, so you can be sprayed up your back if moving fast. The front end of the rear guard stops short of where the chain stays meet at the bottom of the seat tube, so your front derailleur may get mucky.
But this is being picky. For the price they do a pretty good job, keeping away most muck your wheels would otherwise throw at you.
Lightweight too.

Ford S-Max Mudflaps
I can’t count the number of times I had wished I had fitted mudflaps on other cars when trying to scrub off stubborn tar spots.
These are good quality and fit snugly on front and rear. They are easy to fit. Although I took the opportunity to remove all wheels to clean them and under the arches ...... I’m like that!
However, there are no instructions to show how you remove the plastic retaining fittings that attach the plastic mounding of the front arch to the metal bodywork. These fittings are then re-inserted through the front mud flaps to secure them to the body.
You need to prize out the centre inner part using a screwdriver into the small slot provided. This then allows the outer part of the fitting to be prized out of the hole. The reverse procedure for refitting.
Time will tell how much of the doors are clear of tar spots.
The only negative on the rear is that they are a lighter tone of grey than the black bumper on my Titanium model. However, the grey matches the lower grey area beneath the rear bumper, so I can live with that.

Wearing well, Shining bright
This is the 2nd or 3rd set I've had on my SRAM X0 derailleur. 10 months of weekend use in all conditions now. Pleased with wear rate. This is the first coloured set I've had and the only loss of colour is on the edge touching the chain, none on the side, so still looking cool!
