Something Unique for the Garden
A unique little planter that fits on my retainer wall to put some bright grasses in. Really good value for money. Very chuffed with this find. Thanks.

Basic, but what a great iron.
We went through so many irons when we lived in London, due to the terrible limescale water. It became so expensive to replace them around 3 times a year that I decided I'd try this cheaper one from a supermarket.
We've had steam generator irons for years, so we've tested out a good number of them - some we've kept, some we've taken back immediately. Initially seeing this iron, I felt it was ugly and basic and I thought I'd be taking it back - no water level gauge, no filter - and you have to be careful to use up all the water before re-filling. Don't ever open the steam valve wihen it's on and there's water in it. Well, it may not be the prettiest steam generator on the market, but iit lasts longer in a hard water area than the expensive ones with filters and it has a superior sole plate. This iron whizzes through sheets and quilt covers and is fantastic for vertical steaming delicate fabrics. So, I've bought this cheap brand each time since.
The iron never leaks and never burns and it makes ironing so much less of a chore. You just have to get used to filling it up when you start - it takes 2 jugfuls of water and the handy little jug included is a no-spill design. I don't feel it takes long to heat up, even if others have said it does. No longer than any iron I've had. Plus it doesn't belch out steam the whole time - it only releases the shots when you press the trigger.
I've bought this iron for my mum, my hubby's mum and for friends. It's such good value and it has been greatly appreciated, there's no excuse to keep drudging on with a regular iron. This very basic steam generator will lighten the load.
