Very good concept but not dishwasher proof

But recently one of the handles stopped working.
I carefully took it appart which I quickly regretted.
So I went online, only to find out that, when you read the small print, they are not supposed to even be immersed to clean let alone put in the dishwasher and the small print says they are not covered if they are allowed to get hot as per leaving them on the pan whilst cooking or in the oven.
Having seen the incredibly complex mechanism inside I can understand why they would say that but I feel they are fundamentally unfit for purpose. So I cut my losses and just bought this replacement and will certainly not now wash them up in future.

Great for tying up your shoes or boots
I keep this in the shoe cupboard and use it for tying up my shoelaces before I take the dog out for a walk.
Such a simple solution to struggling on the floor or spoiling furniture.
Compact when folded so it doesn't take up much space.
Really sturdy & can wash it down if it gets muddy or gritty.
