Buy the assembled version!
In my haste I didn't read carefully and got a kit of parts. These are some stamped metal bars and lightweight wood, probably £5 material cost. It's a real pain to assemble, about an hour's work, and you'll need a rubber hammer (not supplied). You can buy the same rack assembled for a couple of quid more. Definitely worth the small expense and I will read more carefully in future

It's plastic!
0 of 1 found this helpful Perhaps the material is stated in the small print, but I can't see it. The chrome finish isn't terribly shiny either. Certainly not worth anything like 12 quid, it's the kind of thing you'd see in a pound shop. Oh well, caveat emptor. The delivery was fast, however.

Appears to be a good bit of kit that will stand up to a fair bit of use.
