Flimsy but good value; the slightly higher density card is offset by it being super thin
Although its about 280gsm card, its super thin card. So, its still pretty flimsy stuff. Only got a high 3 stars because its difficult to find anything that isn't rubbish anymore, & it wasn't really possible to test the durability (i.e. tear resistance & longevity of glue). Especially on eBay. Even the well known & expensive British high street chain (WHS) has now stopped selling their good quality stuff & replaced it with plastic or flimsy card versions. At least this is much much cheaper than their equivalent.

Looks good but spoilt by plastic curtain sliders that fall out
2 of 2 found this helpful This product looks really good when up and would be excellent if it wasn't for the plastic sliders. Whats the problem? The sliders don't slide very well, they tend to get stuck if you don't slide the curtains a specific way (light pull, smooth movement & short lengths of movement). If you, or a guest who's not used to the product, pull too hard, sometimes the sliders also fall out of the rail (because the rail is plastic, it can flex apart enough to allow this). Its easy enough to squeeze the sliders back in, but its a pain, as is having to be so careful with the curtains.
In addition, when fitting the rail I had to file down the rails at the join to allow for smooth sliding of the sliders through the join. Not a big deal, but its worth noting.

Does exactly what the advertising says, is accurate & decent quality.
It does everything the advert says, is decent enough quality & can be got for great prices (around £20). The MOST IMPORTANT factor for medical thermometers is accuracy. This also seems as advertised (body temp: +/- 0.2 degC). I tested it against my Braun clinically rated armpit thermometer (accuracy +/- 0.1 degC). And the readings have been consistent too. Doesn't come with batteries (2x AA)(something to do with deliveries from China).
