Good but too expensive
If you have a choice between the Preston box and the Guru version, buy the Preston. It will hold finer/smaller hooks much better. As a system it works well and life is so much easier having hook lengths available at a flick of the lid. My only gripe is the price, with the Preston boxes being overpriced by about 50%. That said, Guru are even more expensive.

Just the job for our English weather.
Simple to set up and take down. Light weight. Withstands howling wind and rain, thanks to the quality hefty pegs provided. Made the difference between a miserable August Bank Holiday (2020) and a good one. And room for my wife too. Excellent stuff.

Cheap and cheerful
For the price, they are good enough. Quality however comes at a price. One bobbin already lost on second use as striking for a fish tore the bobbin off and threw it into the water!. The sensitivity is reasonable and works well enough. They use non standard batteries so it will be interesting to see if replacing them in time costs as much as the units themselves. Only used in dry conditions so far so can't vouch for what they'll be like in rainy conditions
