Roku Express (6th Generation) Media Streamer 3900EU - Black

Slick, simple, with all the apps you need.
I had the older version Roku stick which seemed sluggish in comparison to the new Fire Stick, but i prefer the layout of the Roku, so decided to take a chance on the Express. Initially I was concerned that the remote is infra red and not bluetooth, however this is no concern at all in actual use. The device is snappy to use with plenty of apps. (Although most will never used) The only app that the firestick has that the Roku doesn't which I miss is NJPW World. But then its highly unlikely that this will be a deal breaker for the vast majority of people reading this review.

I had an old Playbook kicking about. What can I do with this I thought? Alarm Clock I instantly answered. Hence purchasing this stand and it was and is perfect.
AT Games Sega Megadrive Flashback HD 2018 console with 2 Pads and Games Included

A lovely product that provides a simple nostalgic trip down memory lane.
here are two versions of the AT Games Flashback HD - Megadrive. This review is for the one that comes in the white version. The red flash version is a different older model that had a number of flaws. This white model mostly fixes all of the niggles that you can see in other reviews for that model. One of the best things about this is the ease of use. It really is plug it into power, TV and switch on. The controllers are wireless and feature the full 6 buttons required for later games released after SF2. The choice of the 85 games could be better and the included original games are awful and should never have been included. but this model features an SD card slot so you can add games to that and play them relatively simply. Alternatively it does feature a cart slot for playing any cartridges you might have. Be aware though that the way this works is it takes the rom and dumps it to memory, that means that muticart games may or may not work. If they do they will probably only work for a single game on the cartridge. There are limited display options including the ability to switch between 16:9 and 4:3 images and a very basic CRT filter can be applied. I think it looks good. Opinions do vary though, just dont expect a top quality retrotink effect. I do like the fact that original controllers can also be plugged into the ports at the front. This includes aftermarket new controllers. I am currently using a couple of RetroBit big 6 controllers. But if you have your old ones kicking about they will work just fine. Pressing the mode button will take you to the menu, but if your controller doesn't have this pressing reset on the console does the same. Overall this is a wonderful trip down memory lane and a nice cheap nostalgia trip. It could also be considered as an introduction to the world of retro before spending big on a Mega SG, Mister or any other more pricier options. Highly Recommended.
