Great for use in ceramic BBQ
0 of 1 found this helpful Purchased for use in kamado joe BBQ, but would work with any brand. Allows rotisserie use with lid down cook. I fed flexible drive out through chimney vent. Method works well.
Mid range build quality for low price point (kamado joe rotisserie £300+), with a bit of tlc I don't see why it should give long service. Seems to be chrome plated, and cleans up well in the sink.
Only niggle is no batteries in pack.
Update, after only the second use the screw that holds the main drive cog to the spit came detached during use, even though tightness was checked prior to use. Very annoying to have to be repairing item after just 2 usages, build/design quality not up to scratch, unfortunately.

Convenient
Fitted a 4 camera system on my parents house as they spend considerable time away.
Primary motive was not having to wire up the system, it took me about 1 hour to configure, set up and mount the system. Rechargeable nature of the pro is a big plus, batteries lasting very well so far. Also the wi-fi connection between cameras and base unit is stronger than the connection between my phone and the router, therefore range is excellent. The images, day and night are great.
Negatives.. price, motion detection range is poor to get full house coverage I needed to use 4 externally mounted cameras (although must add that house is quite large at 6 bed), it's no more than 7 metres from camera. The microphone audio detection feature is useless for exterior mounting applications. Having to tweak sensitivity of motion detection very carefully, having bumble bees triggering system at the moment, down to 83% setting so far. Be aware that notification mechanism is an email and push notification to phone, at least on iOS, would better to have a unique Arlo "sound".
Overall, expensive but convenient and so far exceeded expectations for a diy installed system.

Excellent value, average quality.
2 of 2 found this helpful Reasonable quality blades, strong body but poor quality locking mechanism. Clearly not felco quality but you can't expect that for 25% of the price. Ideal for light usage or for someone whom is prone to loosing tools(I purchased for my mother whom leaves tools in the rain) , however I've had my Felcos for 20 years and they are as good as new. I would hope to get several years use out of these before replacements are needed.
