New "Old Camera" Purchased as a Christmas Gift
1 of 1 found this helpful A friend is not very gifted when dealing with electronics, digital cameras, etc. He had an HP PhotoSmart 320 Camera and had learned to use it but during a trip to Portugal the camera was dropped and the battery cover was broken. The battery cover wouldn't stay closed and each time it opened, the camera went down and had to have the settings (date, time, etc.) re-entered. This was tedious and usually resulted in a lost photo opportunity!
I purchased the HP 320 as a replacement for my friend as a Christmas gift. The battery cover on this camera works fine, as does the camera. The only flaw is that if dropped, the cover can easily be broken and won't stay closed, otherwise, this is a simple camera to use for just about anyone and it is a good basic camera. The photos are pretty good if using the "Best" setting.
I would recommend it for a beginner who wants to try out a digital camera or someone like my friend who isn't very gifted in using a digital camera.
