Thank you Karl Wallinger

This was Karl Wallinger’s second album, the difficult one usually. His first was Private Revolution, a monumental record. Equally, Goodbye Jumbo is full of hit songs that still address the frailty of the World we live in and take for granted. Sadly Karl passed away earlier this year and that makes his albums all the more precious. He devoted himself to singing praises for our planet until the end, even Prince took note of this album and brought him into his own management. Is it too late kicks off the record and it finishes with Thank you World. My sentiments exactly. Thank YOU Karl for your blessed music. World culture is richer for it now.
