Works well with 100W solar panel and 120Ah 12V battery
I'm pleased with this solar charge controller. It works well with my 100W solar panel and 120Ah 12V deep cycle battery on my boat. On a clear sunny day on the South coast when I track the sun by hand I get 100W out of it and will get 80W when lying flat on the boat with no shadows on it. The display shows voltage and current to and from the solar panel and the battery so I can see that it charges at 13.7V and sometimes at 14.4V. It will put 5A or 6A into the battery when it's available and needed. The MPPT pulls only what is needed from the panel so the controller doesn't get warm. It reacts within a few seconds to changes in load and sunshine.
The Photonic Universe product is just a rebadged version of the EPSolar EPEver Tracer.
I've not tried the remote control or WiFi interface.
