Canon 24-105mm F4 IS EF lens
2 of 2 found this helpful Great lens, really sharp images. Great build quality. Highly recommended. The wide end does show some barrel distortion, but only what you'd expect. From 35mm up it's just great for portraits and other standard zoom uses.
Good bokeh, and contrast too. The IS is great, although camera shake is less of an issue at the wide end, at 105mm it's really an advantage. F2.8 would be nice, but then the lens would be far more expensive!
I have this in combination with a 70-200 F4 IS and between those two lenses, I have most things covered!

My old pads were several years old. New ones have improved stopping distance quite a bit.
