More than competent, less than superlative.
Nice addition to my collection, although by no means the defininitive version. Decent recording, good energy, although neither the raw joy and anger of the original Broadway, nor the sublime vocals of the Of the Bernstein conducted Te Kanawa, Troyanos, Carreras version (although there Carreras is somewhat weakened by his diction/accent which he never pulls off as [Italian]/American, and remains somewhat unfortunately "Spanish")
