An improvement over the original design
After replacing the joystick in my N64 controller from the original style to this GameCube style has made playing games easier. The longer original didn't seem to be as accurate as the newer style. I had updated the original design with another firmer stick before trying the GameCube style. When I come to replace the sticks on my other controllers, I wouldn't bother with the older design and go straight to this one.
