Damp weather gives it a problem
Looks nice and is solidly made. Easy to fit on a post . Squirrels can climb up happily and make themselves comfortable as they reach for food under the lid. Unfortunately the lid cannot cope with damp weather. The wood swells and then the lid cannot get to rest on the edges of the food box; it stays wedged away from the food box, so that the food is not protected from rain coming at an angle. Not enough clearance has been left for the hinge to open fully
