Well packed for shipment
Bare aluminum. My parts came well packed in bubble wrap. There were no bent fins.

Getting spec sheet aids in designs
Since this is a true isolated converter, this unit works very well to eliminate the ground loop noise in trying to play an MP3 player (5 volt supply) continuously off a 12VDC (from AC) power supply that also operates the audio amplifier. The mfr. spec sheet is available online from the Mornsun-power website that will help with applications since typically no data will come with this part.

It's handy in a toolbox.
If you get this for under $2.50 it's okay. It's a handy toolbox addition. Be aware that the screws can come out quite easily.
