Always use; always reliable
These are the same as used by your GP. Accurate and reliable, I use them to check for UTI's. Follow the instructions exactly, make sure the lid is firmly closed immediately after taking a strip out, and keep the tub in a cool place, and you'll be well-informed beforehand should you need a trip to the doc.

As accurate as the professionals
1 of 1 found this helpful These dipsticks are the same as the NHS use. Don't forget to treat the patient though, not the dipstick result! Also don't forget to screw the top back on the jar really tightly; the nitrites test square is the one that most people want to know about, and its also the one most sensitive to moisture-ingress, which can give a false result. Don't use them past their expiry date either, for the same reason.
We never go on holiday without them, and a few antibiotics too, just In case

Vast improvement over tinny flat screen speakers
2 of 2 found this helpful Great product for the price. Works straight out of the box, although you do have to buy an optical cable (not supplied) Sound is great, with as much bass as you need, especially in Movie mode. 2 minor niggles:
1) It's very keen to save your electricity - almost too keen, in fact. Mute the sound on your TV remote, to take a phone call say, and after only 15 minutes the sound bar shuts itself down! Took me another 10 minutes to figure this out the first time it happened. There's no way to extend this pre-programmed timing.
2) The instructions say you can place the bar in front of your TV if you're using a cabinet of some sort in the corner of the room as I am. Of course you can, but the height of the bar means that it partially blocks the signals from the TV remote control. Consider raising the TV by a couple of inches, by placing blocks under the TV's feet, so that the bottom edge of the screen is visible above the top of the sound bar.
These 2 minor niggles aside, I've been more than happy with it over the last 2 weeks that I've had it, and certainly wouldn't go back to the tin-can-on-string sound of the TV on its own.
