Against no odds - the very best, best of Phil Collins compilation album.
A thorough 3 cd career spanning collection of Phil Collins' solo career.
His singles' releases in the UK and other territories of the world,are included in this excellent compilation album of PC - a music legend without a doubt.
PS: he should be Sir Phil Collins - long overdue honour!!

Abbey road at 50 - never sounded better.
I am a huge fan of The Beatles and can easily be bias towards their splendid output
My appraisal of this 50th anniversary 2 cd disc edition of the Abbey road album,is no exception.
Always a slick,sophisticated album,it has always been one of my all time favourite albums.
This is a new stereo remixed - rather remastered version of the album,and the sound quality is so clear,without being at all sterile.this is due to the talents of producer Giles Martin (yes,his father had a say in matters) and engineer Sam Okell.
The second disc contains out- takes,demos and previously unreleased versions of original recordings (disc 1) and in same track order - also remixed.
Take it you know the track listing order.
The packaging is in slipcase and gatefold sleeve style.booklet contains a forward by Sir Paul McCartney and extensive sleeve by Giles Martin,glossy colour photos and full credits for this 2019 re-issue - all excellent inclusions.
Abbey road by The Beatles - is an all time classic album - i highly recommend it and this excellent re-release.
NB: ignore some other reviers; the track listing is exactly the same as the original 1969 release - enjoy!

Superb deluxe edition of classic Pretenders debut album.
The Pretenders released their self-titled debut album in 1979; of what is now regarded (by many) as a classic,seminal album of the era
Containing hit singles; Stop your sobbing,Kid and UK no 1 - Brass in pocket - this is the first cd - three in total) of this 2021 deluxe re-issue of said album.
Including demos,out-takes (some previously unreleased) and third disc of live concert,the music contained throughout the collection - is truly excellent.
Presented in 12x12 hardback book format: glossy pages,photos of the era and sleeve notes by music writer - Will Hodgkinson - you could say,"what more could you ask for".excellent remastered sound quality,perhaps?
I've always loved this eponymous debut album by The Pretenders; and this expanded edition elaborates and improves on it further still.
Fronted by the fiesty,never shy to make her views known - Chrissy Hynde - I highly recommend this wonderful latterday deluxe edition re-release of Pretenders by Pretenders.
