Christian music DVD

I bought this DVD so I could watch it with my wife who is now unable to get out to church. The pictures are stunning, and the words come up on the screen like karaoke. The songs are mostly modern, and many are ones we already knew - and we love seeing the pictures rather than the performers. Great. The pictures are mostly landscapes and seascapes, many taken from a fast-moving helicopter in all sorts of scenery. Even the stills of happy, laughing faces are fantastic. Having looked at other Christian music DVDs where it seems that the performers are more important than the words and music, this came as a refreshing surprise. Thoroughly recommended whether you want to join in the singing, or just watch and listen.

Get Some In

My older brother who did his National Service in the RAF earlier than me, recommended this to me recently. I don't remember it at the time it was broadcast. It initially brought back some unpleasant memories of my time from 1955-77, but I soon got into the humour of things and think it's really great. The DVD quality is good on a 32 inch set, and I'm now on disc 4 out of 5. I'm rationing myself to one eposode a day maximum, just to prolong the pleasure. I don't know how non RAF National Service viewers would take to it, but for me it's the greatest. As good as Hi-De-Hi, which takes some beating!
