Repair Broken Car Rear Window Demister Element Connector Conductive Paint

It sticks to the masking tape OK, but not to the window.
I have used the Permatex Stuff previously and found it to work well. I followed the instructions, cleaned the window and like the other reviews it peeled away when the tape was removed.
