New life to an old bass
I bought these strings to experiment with on my 73 Jazz Bass. I gigged it with a classic rock covers band I play with occasionally and the sound of these flat wounds on the Jazz Bass is the perfect combination for this style of music. So tight and punchy and a solid foundation that complements the mix perfectly. So much so that my other band members all made unsolicited positive comments. I would strongly recommend bass players invest in a set of these; you may never look back.

Fabulous Bass strings
A great new experience for me. After 40 years playing round wounds I bought these to go on my 75 Fender Jazz Bass which is fretless. Read the reviews and everything pointed to investing in these iconic strings. Had them on for a week now and I quite honestly can't put the instrument down. I love the feel, and the sound and voicings these strings create is inspiring. I have a number of basses but it may be sometime before I gig them again, although I may be tempted to put a set on to one of my fretted instruments in the near future.
