Excellent for beginers
Are you buying your first amp?
Do you want your kids to learn about amplifiers?
This is the book for you.
It covers everything, scratching the surface so you can decide
whether you feel attracted to the topic or not. If you do,,, there'll be thousands of books out there where you will learn in detail.
But for a kid or someone with zero knowledge,,, this is the best first step you can get.

Good book, CD not so good
Very detailed and in-depth explanation about the history of guitars, effects and amps. Common maintenance and repairs are also covered in a brief but effective manner. At the end, some important tones-of-the-stars are covered and explained. The book comes with a cd that has audio examples of many of the topics and items touched on the book.... However..... The audio clips are not really that good (in the sense of being too short and not well played) and many of the important pieces of gear on the book have no audio clip.....
So,,, as a book for itself it is quite good. The cd not so much.

Samsun G600, A step forward????
I´ve been a regular Samsung mobile user for quite so many years now, and I´ve experienced how they sometimes forget about very simple things when it comes to evolve and improve their new products, making oneself ask a simple question... Are they really moving forward?
Up to a certain extent, it is pointless to talk about the great things this new model offers, such as the 5mp camera, user-friendly software etc. Basically, nowadays all phones offer the same attractive features that usually work the way one expects them to.
So, I´ll just point out the down sides of this particular model, compared to any other model of any other manufacturer.
You read them and decide if you would mind.
1 - Only 4 awful factory-provided text message tones. Ringtones can be customised, but SMS tones cannot.
2 - Very poor reception, and incase you enter a no-signal zone, As you come back out to good signal, the phone takes up to 3 minutes to recover full signal and be functional again.
3 - Slow key response. If you´re a fast typer, this phone ain´t for you.
Other than that, this sturdy item works like any other phone is supposed to. In my case, I love funny ringtones and message tones, and I was so dissapointed when I got it, first I thought my phone was damaged or I was just clumsy I couldn´t find where to change the text message tones, but as I went online I found out that it can´t be done, and I decided to do away with this model phone.
After many years of manufacturing cutting-edge technologically advanced units, Samsung comes up with a phone with only 4 message tones......
I´ll Shoot the question again...
Do they really think they´re taking a step forward?
